Verizon Wireless has discontinued the "FREE 3G MOBILE HOTSPOT" Service.

Originally, when they released the ability they charged $20.00 per month on top of all other fees in order to keep this feature. When the DROID X was released, they backed down and offered it free to all new subscribers.

NOW...they have decided to start charging for it, since more and more phones will have this ability. Currently, they have two phones. On August 11, they will be releasing the DROID 2...which will also have this feature.

The price for this add on is $20.
