How-to Add Contacts and Customize Them with the LG Lucid 2

Adding a New Contact

1. Go to the Home screen and tap Contacts.
2. Then tap the Plus sign (+) to add a new one -> tap Name and name your contact -> tap Next.
3. In the Phone field enter the contact’s phone number -> tap Next.
4. Enter the email address of your contact in the designated field -> tap Next.
5. When done, tap Save.

Adding a Picture to a Contact

1. From the Home screen, tap Contacts.
2. Choose the desired contact.
3. Then tap the Picture icon -> tap Select from Gallery (or Take photo if you want to take a picture of your contact right away) -> select the album where the desired photo is located -> then tap the Picture that you’d like to use -> crop the picture if necessary -> then tap OK.
4. The picture is now assigned to your contact.

Assigning a Ringtone to a Contact

1. From the Home screen, tap Contacts.
2. Then tap the contact you’d like to add a new ringtone to.
3. Tap the Edit icon located at the top of the screen -> then scroll to Default ringtone -> touch Default ringtone -> select the ringtone that you want to assign -> then tap OK.
4. When finished, tap Save.

Creating a Group and Adding Contacts to It

1. From the Home screen, tap Contacts.
2. Then touch Groups -> press the Home key -> select New group -> name your group.
3. Tap Default ringtone if you want to add a specific ringtone to this group -> then select the desired ringtone.
4. To add new members to the group, tap Add members -> check the contacts you wish to add -> then tap Add -> tap Save when finished.

Adding and Deleting a Favorite Contact

1. From the Home screen, tap Contacts.
2. Then select the contact that you want to add as a Favorite.
3. Tap the Star icon located at the top right corner of the screen to add that particular contact to your favorites list -> then press the Back key.
4. If you want to remove a contact from Favorites, then tap Favorites -> tap and hold the contact that you want to remove until a new window with options appears -> then tap Remove from favorites.
Tip: You can also use this screen if you want to add one of your contacts to the Home screen. This feature is useful if you want to have quicker access to a certain contact.

Sharing Contact Information

1. From the Home screen, tap Contacts.
2. Then press the Menu key and select Share.
3. Check the contact or contacts that you’d like to share -> then tap Attach.
4. Next, select the sharing method that you want to use. You can choose from Bluetooth, Email, Gmail or Messaging.
5. After you selected the desired sharing method, just follow the on-screen prompts to send the contact information.
