aggravating problem - hang ups

  1. Phone harrasment is a crime, and should not be tollerated in any way. Make a
    police complaint. You can also complain to your State AG's office, as well

    I had similar issues over a year ago and they gave the same options. It
    totally baffles me as to why a phone company can't put just a little effort
    into investigating it, and then advising you on what to do (and giving the
    police the necessary information if needs be), or tracking down automated
    equipment if that is the cause.

    My solution was to use a silent ringtone. That way I don't get annoyed
    by the call. I treat restricted calls from real people as a lower
    priority anyway, so they get to leave voicemail or I may answer if
    I see the phone flashing away and am not busy.
