We reported earlier in the week that AT&T was to acquire T-Mobile, which may had some questioning about the outlook on Sprint and other carriers who may be having trouble with their subscribers.

According to Dan Mead, CEO of Verizon, he reported at the CTIA 2011:
“We’re not interested in buying Sprint. We don’t need them.”

So it's safe to say that Sprint is safe when it comes to Verizon.
