How-to Enable and Manage the 4G Mobile Hotspot Feature on Your Motorola Droid RAZR

    How-To: Turn On the 4G Mobile Hotpot Feature on Your Motorola Droid RAZR

    • From the Home screen tap the "Home" sensitive button on your Motorola Droid RAZR.
    • Tap on the "Settings" icon in the right-bottom corner of the screen.
    • Tap the "Wireless & networks" option.
    • Tap on "Tethering & Mobile Hotspot".
    • Tap the "Mobile Hotpot" option. A "Warning" window will appear, notifying the user about the "4G Mobile Hotspot" feature's impact on the battery life.
    • Tap "OK" on the notification window. The "Mobile Hotspot" checkbox should now be green.

    How-To: Manage the 4G Mobile Hotpot Security Settings on your Motorola Droid RAZR.

    • Access the "Tethering & Mobile Hotspot" option by following the above mentioned steps.
    • Tap the "Mobile Hotspot settings".
    • Tap the "Configure Mobile Hotspot" option.
    • Tap the "Security" dropdown menu and select the preferred security type.
    • Tap on the "Password field", type a password via your on-screen keyboard and tap the "Next" button.
    • Tap "Done" followed by the "Save" button.

    How-To: Manage the 4G Mobile Hotspot Users on your Motorola Droid RAZR.

    • Follow the same steps as before in order to access the "Mobile Hotspot settings" menu.
    • Tap the "Manage devices" option.
    • Tap the "Device Limit" and tap on the maximum number of devices you wish to connect.
