    Clear App Cache or Data:

NOTE: If an app causes problems or doesn’t work as intended, you can try solving these issues by clearing the app cache or data. WARNING! When you clear an app’s data, all of your personal data stored within the app will be deleted, including sign-in details, save files, custom settings etc. To avoid losing personal app data, clear ONLY the app cache.

    1. On the home screen, swipe up from the bottom
    2. Open “Settings
    3. Access “Apps & Notifications
    4. Switch to “All apps” and select the desired app
    5. Tap “Storage” > “Clear cache
    6. If clearing the app cache didn’t solve the problems, tap “Clear data” (check the WARNING above)

Reset Network and App Settings/Factory Reset:

NOTE: Before factory resetting the device, ensure you have backed up all of your personal data, otherwise the data will be lost during the reset process.

    1. Open “Settings” and go to “System
    2. Tap “Reset options
    3. To reset network settings, tap “Reset Wi-Fi, Mobile & Bluetooth
    4. Tap “Reset settings” two times to confirm
    5. To reset app settings, first tap “Reset app preferences
    6. Tap “Reset apps” to confirm
    7. To factory reset the device, tap “Erase all data (factory reset)” > “Reset phone
    8. Tap “Erase everything

Reboot to Safe Mode and Remove an App:

NOTE: If a third-party application causes problems and prevents you from removing it, you should be able to remove the app while in Safe Mode, where all third-party apps are turned off by default. To reboot the device in Safe Mode and uninstall the application:

    1. Press and hold “Power
    2. In the power management pop-up, tap and hold “Power off
    3. Once the phone finishes rebooting, a “Safe Mode” watermark should be visible in the lower area of the home screen
    4. To remove an app, first open “Settings” and go to “Apps & Notifications
    5. Switch to “All apps’ if necessary
    6. Select the desired app and tap “Uninstall” > “OK
    7. To exit Safe Mode, press and hold the “Power” key and select “Restart
