"Just in time for school" sounds like code speak for "more shitty
phones that concentrate on meaningless bells and whistles than making
    and receiving phone calls."

    Hi,
It's funny - I left AT&T because their signal coverage in my area
(Northern NJ) is pretty poor. I was one of the first phone number
ports from AT&T to VZW last November. What fun that was... Now, AT&T
    is going to GSM.

Re the phones, I agree - I want a Bluetooth enabled phone that employs
Windows CE (Pocket PC); sort of a lower-end PDA with bluetooth and
Mini Outlook, Word and IE. You can use MS Activesync to connect to any
Windows-enabled device. I use A/S to connect to my older Compaq PDA,
and I use Bitpim and DigitalPIMP to connect to my LG 4400. I like the
4400, but I would like to streamline all this. VZW's comments to me a
few months ago were to the effect, "We aren't worrying about bluetooth
yet - we are really trying to get our coverage even better first"
(groan). Their selection of phones is not great. It kind of jumps
between teh LG6000 and then to the Kyocera (I think) PDA-like phone.
And I know there are other phones out there.
