I know individual battery life will vary depending on what type of phone you have, what type of battery is in the phone, what apps you run all the time, how much you use the phone, etc., etc., etc., but... on average... do you think it's reasonable to expect 8 hours out of your smartphone battery?

There's just too many variables to consider to expect 8 hours, especially if it's not a phone that's known for its battery life.

I think it depends on pretty much everything you stated, ha. My phone can get a lot more than 8 hours because it mostly stays in "sleep mode" in my locker at work throughout the day. My husband has the same phone but he's lucky to get 4-6 hours out of this because he's on it all the time.
