How often does "unbilled usage" update on the web site?

Its the same as #MIN (#646) updates on your phone. Usually calls that
you make in your home market are updated either the same day or
overnight. If you make calls in another Verizon market or on an
Extended Network market, it may take up to 48 to 72 hours to be
    reported.

What does that mean? If you dial that sequence do you get the usage? Sounds
easier than going to the website. Also, is it airtime free?

I don't mean to hijack the thread, but it was an interesting question.

    Thanks.

Dial #646 on your phone and you get a free text message from VZW with
your current unbilled usage, broken down to different rate periods
(peak, off peak, MTM, etc). Its great when you're out and about and
want to know your current usage.

    Thanks Diamond Dave,

But, do you have to subscribe to a text bundle package? I tried it today and
received a recording saying that I am not eligible for that service. (Or
something to that effect). I do not have any text packages.

    Thanks.
