how to unlock a lg vx7000

    i've never heard of anyone unlocking a verizon phone. who do you plan on switching to?

    You don't need to unlock it for that. All you need is a data cable and BitPim. You can get a data cable from an lg vx6000,7000 of course and even the 8000 will work. they have all the same pin count. I have an lg vx 8100 and a 6000 cable and works great.

    sure you can. You can add ringtones to your phone. Mine is verizon also and I add them all the time.

    on the vx7000 , i even called verizon and they said u cant

    Well lets think about this. Would you tell someone they could if you wanted them to pay 1.99 for a ringtone lol. Yes you can trust me. It even plays mp3 I do believe. I will look for the tutorial that I have laying around. You need a data cable and BitPim or QPST. I would not lie to you. no reason too. I have a tutoriol for the 8100 and should be similar. Also I am new here but I think they have a section for data cables.
