How-to HTC Desire 530: Manage Call Forwarding; Block / Unblock Calls & Messages

    Turn On Call Forwarding:

    1. Open the apps drawer
    2. Go to “Settings
    3. Tap “Call” > “Call forwarding
    4. Select to “Always forward
    5. Enter the phone number you want to forward calls to
    6. Tap “Enable

    Enable Conditional Call Forwarding:

    1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
    2. Open “Settings
    3. Tap “Call” > “Call forwarding
    4. Choose to “Forward when busy”, “Forward when unreachable” or “Forward when unanswered
    5. Enter or edit the phone number you want to forward calls to
    6. Tap “Update” / “Enable

    Disable Call Forwarding:

    1. Open “Settings
    2. Tap “Call
    3. Access “Call forwarding
    4. Select the forwarding option you want to disable
    5. Tap “Disable” to confirm

    Block Incoming Calls:

    1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
    2. Open “People
    3. Tap “Menu” > “Manage contacts
    4. Go to “Blocked contacts
    5. Tap “+” and perform one of these steps:
      • To block an existing contact: check the box associated with the contact and tap “Save”. Additionally, you can tap “OK” if you wish to save the contact info to another account before blocking
      • To block a phone number: enter the phone number and tap “OK” to confirm
    Unblock Calls:

    1. Open the apps drawer
    2. Launch “People
    3. Tap “Menu” > “Manage contacts
    4. Tap “Blocked contacts
    5. Tap “Menu” > “Remove blocked contacts
    6. Select the contacts you want to unblock
    7. Tap “Delete” to confirm

    Block Messages:

    1. Launch “Messages
    2. Tap and hold the conversation thread exchanged with the contact you want to block
    3. At the “Message options” prompt, tap “Block contact
