Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:

    1. Connect the HTC Desire 530 to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “Media device (MTP)” / “File Transfer (MTP)” at the prompt, otherwise enable the option from the “Notification” area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer and locate the desired audio files on the PC storage
    4. Copy and paste the files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” / “Notification” folders under “Media
    5. After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord

    Set a New Ringtone:

    1. Open the apps drawer
    2. Launch “Settings
    3. Tap “Personalize
    4. Go to “Ringtone” and select the ringtone to use
    5. Tap “Apply” to confirm

Set a Custom Ringtone to a Specific Contact:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned to contacts located on the SIM card or the phone’s internal memory.

    1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
    2. Open “People
    3. Select the contact you want to edit and tap “Ringtone
    4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “Apply

    Change the Notification Sound:

    1. Go to “Settings
    2. Scroll to and tap “Sound & Notification
    3. Tap “Notification sound
    4. Select the notification sound you want to use
    5. Tap “Apply” to confirm
