How-to iPhone 7: Manage, Block / Unblock Contacts; manage Call Forwarding; Reset the Call Log

    Create a Contact:

    1. Tap “Extras” > “Contacts” while on the home screen
    2. Tap the “Add contact” button in the top-right corner
    3. Add the contact’s name, phone number, and other details in the appropriate fields
    4. Tap “Done” to confirm

    Import Contacts from the SIM Card:

    1. Open “Settings
    2. Go to “Contacts
    3. Tap “Import SIM Contacts
    4. Select an account to import the contacts to

    Delete a Contact:

    1. Tap “Phone” on the home screen
    2. Access “Contacts
    3. Tap the contact you want to remove
    4. Tap “Edit
    5. Scroll down to, and tap “Delete Contacts” twice to confirm

    Block All Incoming Calls:

    1. Launch “Settings
    2. Tap “Do Not Disturb”. To turn the feature On or Off manually, tap the “Manual” toggle
    3. To schedule time frames for when Do Not Disturb starts, tap the “Scheduled” toggle and select the times to start and stop DND
    4. To allow calls from specific contacts or groups, tap “Allow Calls from” and select the desired contact / group
    5. To allow repeat callers to connect, turn on “Repeated Calls” (The repeat call must occur within the first 3 minutes of the original call in order to connect)

    Block Specific Contacts / Phone Numbers:

    1. Tap “Phone” on the home screen
    2. Access “Recents” or “Contacts
    3. Tap the contact or phone number you want to block (or if viewing the “Recents” screen, tap the “information” icon next to the desired contact)
    4. Tap “Block this Caller” > “Block Contact” to confirm

    Unblock Calls:

    1. Launch “Settings
    2. Tap “Phone” > “Call Blocking & Identification
    3. Tap “Edit
    4. Tap the “-“ symbol associated with the number you want to unblock
    5. Tap “Unblock” to confirm

    Turn On Call Forwarding:

    1. Go to “Settings
    2. Tap “Phone
    3. Access “Call Forwarding
    4. Tap the white slider to turn it green
    5. Tap “Forward to” and enter the phone number you want to forward calls to
    6. Tap “Call Forwarding

    Turn Off Call Forwarding:

    1. Open “Settings
    2. Tap “Phone
    3. Access “Call Forwarding
    4. Tap the green slider to turn the option Off

    Reset the Call Log:

    1. Launch “Phone
    2. Go to “Recents
    3. Tap “All
    4. Tap “Edit” and perform one of the following steps:
      • Tap the “-“ symbol associated with the call log you want to remove, or:
      • Tap “Clear” > “Clear All” > “Recents” to reset the call log
    Turn On Wi-Fi Calling:

    1. Register your 911 address with your carrier, if necessary
    2. Ensure Wi-Fi is turned on and go to “Settings
    3. Tap “Phone” > “Wi-Fi Calling
    4. Tap the slider associated with “Wi-Fi Calling on this phone” > “Enable
    5. Tap “Update Emergency Address” and enter your E911 address
    6. Tap “Save
