    Master Reset via Settings:

WARNING! If your iPhone 7 crashes, freezes, or doesn’t work as intended, you can try fixing these issues by master resetting the device. This can result in the deletion of personal data stored on the internal memory, including contacts, apps, downloaded content, media files, ringtones etc. However, data stored on the SIM card will not be affected.

NOTE: Before you master reset the iPhone 7, you can check this thread for instructions on how you can back up personal data.

    1. Open “Settings
    2. Go to “General
    3. Tap “Reset” and select the one of the following options:
      • Erase all content and settings
      • Reset all settings
      • Reset network settings (NOTE: if you enable this option all your Wi-Fi profiles will be deleted)
      • Reset keyboard dictionary
      • Reset home screen layout
      • Reset location & privacy
    4. If needed, enter your password to proceed
    Soft Reset via Hardware Keys:

NOTE: If your iPhone is unresponsive or otherwise doesn’t work properly, you can also try to soft reset the device using hardware buttons. This process will not affect any personal data located on the device’s internal memory.

    1. Press and hold the “sleep / wake” key
    2. At the same time, press and hold “Home
    3. Wait for the screen to turn black (keep the buttons pressed)
    4. At the “Apple” logo, release the buttons and wait for the device to reboot
