    Master Reset via Settings:

WARNING! In case your iPhone SE crashes, freezes, or otherwise doesn’t work as intended, you might be able to solve these problems by master resetting the phone. However, doing so will result in the deletion of all personal data on the device’s internal memory, including downloaded content, ringtones, media files, contacts, apps etc. Data stored on the SIM card will not be affected.

NOTE: Before you master reset the iPhone SE, you can visit this thread or instructions on how to back up applications, contacts, and photos.
    1. Go to the phone’s “Settings” menu
    2. Tap “General
    3. Tap “Reset
    4. Select one of the following options:
      • Reset All Settings
      • Erase All Content and Settings
      • Reset Network Settings (NOTE: by selecting this all Wi-Fi profiles will be deleted)
      • Reset Keyboard Dictionary
      • Reset Home Screen Layout
      • Reset Location & Privacy
    5. If necessary, enter your password to proceed

    Soft Reset via Hardware Keys:

NOTE: If your iPhone is unresponsive, you might be able to fix these issues by soft resetting it through a combination of key presses. To do this:

    1. Press and hold the “sleep / wake” button at the top of the phone
    2. Simultaneously, press and hold “Home
    3. Hold the buttons pressed until the screen turns black
    4. When the white “Apple” logo appears, release the hardware buttons and wait for the device to reboot
