How-to Kyocera DuraForce Pro 2: Create and Manage Contacts, Caller Groups, and Call History

    Create a Contact:

    1. Open “Contacts
    2. Tap “Add new
    3. Select a method for syncing or storing the contact
    4. Enter the contact details and tap “Save

    Create a Contact from the Call Log:

    1. Open “Phone” and go to “History
    2. Tick or clear the check boxes next to the phone number you want to add
    3. Tap “+” and select to add the number to an existing one or create a new contact
    4. Enter the contact details if necessary
    5. Tap “Save

    Import Contacts from SD Storage:

    1. Open “Contacts
    2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings
    3. Tap “Import” > “.vcf file
    4. Select the desired file and tap “Import

    Import Contacts from SIM:

    1. Open “Contacts” and tap “Menu
    2. Tap “Settings” > “Import
    3. Tap “SIM card” and select the desired contacts
    4. Tap “Import” to confirm

    Export Contacts to SD Storage:

    1. Open “Contacts” and tap “Menu
    2. Tap “Settings” > “Export
    3. Tap “Export to .vcf file
    4. Name the file and tap “Save

    Export Contacts to SIM Card:

    1. Launch “Contacts” and tap “Menu
    2. Tap “Settings” > “Export” and select the SIM card
    3. Select the contacts you want to export and tap “OK

    Add or Remove Contacts to/from Favorites:

    1. Open “Contacts
    2. Select the desired contact
    3. Tap the “Star’ icon at the top to add the contact to favorites
    4. Optionally, you can make a home screen shortcut for the contact by tapping “Menu” > “Create shortcut

    Link/Unlink Contacts:

    1. Open “Contacts” and select the first contact
    2. Tap “Menu” > “Link
    3. Select the second contact to associate with the first
    4. To unlink the contacts, tap “Menu” > “View linked contacts” > “Unlink

    Delete Contacts:

    1. Open “Contacts
    2. Tap and hold the desired contact
    3. Tap the “Trash can” icon next to the contact you want to remove
    4. Tap “OK” to confirm

    Create a Caller Group Using a Contact:

    1. Open “Contacts
    2. Select the desired contact
    3. Tap “Edit” > “More Fields
    4. Tap “Create a new group” and name the group
    5. Tap “OK” to confirm

    Add Contacts to an Existing Caller Group:

    1. Launch “Contacts
    2. Select the desired contact
    3. Tap “Edit” > “More Fields” and select the desired caller group
    4. Tap “OK” to confirm
