I hve done the *228 update but I read that there is another update that the
Verizon service departments can do to make sure the phone is up to date.
Can anyone give me the current SW revison numbers? Thanks.

Smarty - I believe that software version 8 is the most recent edition.
Just go to a local Verizon Wireless store and go to the technical
assistance and they'll update it for you.

The soft ware version is 8. I just got my phone upgraded from version 4 to
version 8. My phone works better. I get a better signal and my phone just
works a lot better. I am in the Northern Ky area.

As a Verizon tech, all software is make FOOLS think their phones work
better. There is NO difference. It is simple a technical placebo. And the
idiots keep falling for it so they use it as a ploy to calm the minds of the
stupid masses when their phones drop calls in Wal-Mart and their trailers.
