I can have the oppertunity to purchase either from my friend so I can use out of contract. Which phone is better and in what ways? Thanks.

The #1 issue with LG is that they use plastic instead of glass as the digitzer screen. I would say go with the LG Chocolate Touch as its the updated version of the Dare. Just Verizon choose to name it differently.

It depends on what you want in a phone. If you care more about camera, video and internet the LG Dare is better. Because LG Dare is better mobile phone.

The chocolate is the more updated version so that would be the way to go i think. The Dare is a nice phone also and does have some decent features including the multimedia options , but the Choc is just a bit more advanced.
