hey, i was wondering how the AIM(AOL instant messenging) works on the enV? Is it like a sidekick AIM where it has a full buddy list as if it were on the computer and seperate IM windows with up to date IM's? Can someone also tell me how it looks like? Post pictures if you can please. because I want to get this phone, but I want to make sure about this. please reply quick because im about to get this phone within this week or next week.

    thanks:thumbsup:

I believe it works just as normal mobile aim on cellphones, and is charged by the message

The AIM service on your enV uses text message, not actual IMs. No windows pop up, as such, just individual texts. I do not believe that you can modify the status on your phone.

No need for pics, if you've ever seen mobile IM it looks the same.
Best bet if you need mobile im, get a data enabled phone with t-mobile's service. Date pplans alone can be bought for $29.99 per month.

Since the destination of each message is most definitely not a nother Verizon customer, they are all considered domestic messages, not IN messages.
