How-to LG Lancet (for Android): Back Up Personal Data

    Back Up App Data:
    1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
    2. Access “Settings
    3. If necessary, tap “Menu” and switch to “List view
    4. Scroll to “Personal” and tap “Backup & reset
    5. Enable the “Back up my data” check box
    Back Up Contacts:
    1. Open the apps drawer
    2. Launch “Settings” and switch to “List view” if necessary
    3. Under “Personal”, tap “Backup & reset
    4. Tap “LG Backup service
    5. Tap “Backup and restore
    6. Tap “Backup” and choose to back up data on the “Internal storage”, “SD card” or “Cloud
    7. Tap “next” and expand the “Personal data” directory
    8. Make sure “Contacts” is enabled and deselect the other options
    9. Tap “Next” > “Start
    10. At the “Back up completed” message, tap “Done
    Back Up Data to the SD Card:
    1. Go to “Settings
    2. Switch to “List view” if necessary
    3. Tap “Backup & reset” under “Personal
    4. Tap “LG Backup service” > “Backup
    5. Tap “SD card” > “Next
    6. Select the items you want to back up and tap “Next
    7. Tap “Start” to begin the backup
    8. When prompted with “Backup completed”, tap “Done
    Back Up Media Files On the Phone:
    1. Access “Settings” and switch to “List view
    2. Under “Personal”, tap “Backup & reset
    3. Tap “LG Backup service” > “Backup
    4. Select to back up on the “Internal storage”, “SD card” or “Cloud
    5. Tap “Next
    6. Select “Media data” and clear all the other options
    7. Expand the “Media data” directory and select the items you want to back up
    8. Tap “Next” > “Start
    9. Tap “Done” at the “Back up completed” prompt
    Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:
    1. Connect the LG Lancet to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “Media sync (MTP)” either from the pop-up or the notification area
    3. Launch an Explorer window on the computer and navigate to the phone’s storage
    4. Locate the desired “media” files, or the “.sbf” backup file and select them
    5. Copy the files and transfer them in the desired location on the computer
    6. Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage from the system tray and safely disconnect the device from the computer

    Thanks for sharing this, the android device data transfer was a long question, i think it's very convenient to use a mobile phone file transfer and backup app to help. Try Coolmuster Android Assistant, just few simple steps to transfer everything from your phone to computer, except app data and phone settings.

    Actually, there're many special designed android data backup apps could transfer everything between your phone and computer, i happen to know one really works great.
