WARNING! Applying a master reset on your smartphone will return it to factory values. All personal data stored on the phone's internal storage will be deleted, including contacts, third party apps, custom ringtones, images, downloaded content etc. NOTE: Data stored on the SD or SIM card will not be affected.

NOTE: Before proceeding, you may want to back up your personal data. Visit this link to learn how you can back up the files on your LG Lucid 3. To learn how you can restore the data, visit this link.

Master Resetting Using the Settings Menu:

    1. Press the "Menu" button while viewing the home screen
    2. Tap "System settings"
    3. If required, press the "Menu" button and switch to list view
    4. Go to "Personal" and tap "Backup & reset"
    5. Tap "Factory data reset" > "Reset phone" > "Erase everything"
    6. Review the warning information
    7. Tap "OK" and wait for your smartphone to apply the factory reset and reboot

Mastering Reset via Hardware Keys (Recovery Menu):

NOTE: Use this method of reset assuming that you are unable to apply the factory reset using the settings menu (the guide above).

    1. Power off your smartphone
    2. Press and hold the "Volume Down", "Power" and "Home" buttons at the same time
    3. Once the "Factory Hard Reset" screen pops-up, release the hardware keys
    4. Press the "Power" button to confirm the reset. Wait for your smartphone to reboot
