LG VX 4400 USB Driver Problem

Hello, just purchased a 4400 phone. Future dial does not offer the LG
4400 USB driver available for download. It doesn't show up in the list
upon driver installation (futuredial.com). Howardforums.com and other
sites post numerous times this usb driver exists.

Does anybody have a slightly older version of software with the LG VX
USB driver available? If yes, please email to orlin@oscdigital.com (or
any information). Where else does this exist? I'm trying to get rid of
the wallpaper and replace it with something else. Future Dial Snap
Media will not run or BITPIM with the appropriate driver.

    Thanks for your help,

    Orlin...

    Hmmm,

I've got an LG VX4400. Bought the straight USB FutureDial cable from
Radio Shack and downloaded the "USB Driver Installer" from the
FutureDial website. It installed just fine under XP Home and worked
just fine with the 4400 (it even installed a diagnostic port for bitpim
    to use).

I had the same problem (no listing for 4400 in the drop-down at whatever
stage of installation it was). I decided to set it to 5350, which is what
the cable's package said on it. It worked this way, but then I took the
advice of this group's expert and traded the cable in for the USB-serial
converter cable and changed the drivers using the VX10 setting (again, what
    the cable "is for").

If you do that, don't forget to change the phone to RS-232C.

    I just got a new VX4400. Purchased the Radioshack/Futuredial 170-0789
USB cable for LG 5350. Install the drivers for vx10 (From futuredial
    Website).
I have WinXP Home. Attach the cable. set up a new dial up connection,
115K baud, hit connect, and the LG vx4400 dialed to #777 and it
connected at a reported 115K according to XP. Speed was much faster
than land modem dialup. Impressive for wireless. I have broadband, so I
using the Laptop at this modem speed wasnt bad at all.
