Hi my LG VX8360 phone seems to have activated call forwarding. When I try to use the voice mail retrieval from the phone. With the flip open I press the [left soft key] and then the number [5] key. Then to listen to messages I press [send]

At this point it dials my home land line.

Can anyone tell me how to remove the call forward to my home number so I can listen to my messages from my cell phone?

Thank you so much for the help.

    Willow

You'll have to dial *73 to disable call forwarding. This is a feature of Verizon, not the phone from what i can tell.

Hi I tried and it makes a call ending noise. When I try to access the messages it calls my home number still.

I can access messages remotely but that defeats the purpose of having a cell phone, if I have to find a phone to call my cell to see who is leaving me a message. :(

I finally found my way there. I hate that website, lol. it says "Call Forwarding is not active"

I can't cancel it since it is not active.

okay, I think what is happening is your phone is programmed to dial your home phone in place of voicemail (*VM). It's not actually call forwarding.

What happens when you do *86? (86 = VM = VoiceMail)

When I dial *86 I can access VM.

Its the quick [left soft key] and then the number [5] key that seems to be messed up ?
