How-to LG Zone 4: Restore App Data, Contacts, and Media Files

    NOTE: You can check this thread for a guide on how to back up data.

    Restore App Data:

    1. Open “Settings” and access the “General” tab if necessary
    2. Scroll to and tap “Backup & reset
    3. Access “LG Backup” and tap “Restore from backup
    4. Select the desired backup and tap “Start” > “Done

    NOTE: You may be required to reboot the phone in order to complete the process.

    Restore Contacts:

    1. Launch “Settings
    2. Access “Phone Management
    3. Tap “Backup & Reset
    4. Tap “Restore from backup” under “LG Backup
    5. Select the desired backup file then tap “Start” > “Done

    NOTE: You may have to reboot the device to complete the restore.

    Restore Media Files:

    1. Go to “Settings” > “Phone Management
    2. Tap “Backup & reset
    3. Tap “Restore from backup
    4. Select the media files you want to restore and tap “Start
    5. When prompted with “Restore completed” tap “Start

    Restore Media Files from a PC:

    1. Establish a USB connection between the phone and computer
    2. On the phone, enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” at the prompt or from the Notification shade
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the PC
    4. Navigate to the media file backups on the computer
    5. Transfer the files to the phone storage, preferably the “Media” directory
    6. Once done, you can safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
