More attempts at VX7000 firmware upgrading

  1. After contacting CS complain about stores inability to upgrade the
    firmware on my VX7000, I was assured that another store had the required
    cable and software to do the task.

    I wasted my time with this store also, as the first tech didn't even
    know how to start; the second couldn't get the computer to recognize my
    phone, therefore no upgrade, after more than half an hour wait.

    Called CS again and all they can suggest is try another store. Not a
    very customer friendly solution.

    I went through the same type of crap with the recent firmware upgrade
    on the 6100. Made three different trips to two different stores
    before I finally got the upgrade...

    Just got a vx7000 yesterday. What sort of upgrade are we talking about?

    If you just bought it, it probally already has the latest version of
    software in it which is ver .08...

    Just check the software status. Although you probally don't need to
    worry about it since you probally already have it.
