How-to Moto E4 Plus: Block/Unblock Messages and Manage Call Forwarding

    Block Incoming Calls:

    1. Open “Contacts
    2. Access “All contacts
    3. Select the contact/phone number you want to block
    4. Tap “Edit” > “Menu
    5. Turn “All calls to voicemail” ON

    Unblock Incoming Calls:

    1. Launch “Contacts
    2. Go to “All Contacts
    3. Select the contact you want to unblock
    4. Tap “Edit” > “Menu
    5. Disable “All calls to voicemail

    Block Incoming Messages:

    1. Launch Google Messenger
    2. Select the message thread exchanged with the phone number/contact you want to block
    3. Tap “Menu” > “People & Options
    4. Tap “Block [phone number]” > “OK” to confirm

    NOTE: The blocked conversation thread and future messages from the blocked contact will be archived. Notification alerts are turned off for archived messages.

    Unblock Messages:

    1. Open Google Messenger
    2. Tap “Menu
    3. Go to “Archived
    4. Select the conversation thread exchanged with the contact you want to unblock
    5. Tap “Menu” > “Unarchive
    6. Press “Menu” again and access “People & Options
    7. Tap “Unblock [phone number]”

    Enable Call Forwarding:

    1. Launch “Phone
    2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings
    3. Access “Call forwarding” (NOTE: this option might be unavailable if unsupported by your carrier)
    4. Edit or enter the phone number you want to use for call forwarding, or tap “Contacts” and select one from the phonebook
    5. Tap “Enable” to confirm

    Enable Conditional Call Forwarding:

    1. Open “Phone
    2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings
    3. Access “Call forwarding
    4. Select to forward incoming calls “When unreachable”, “When unanswered” or “When busy
    5. Edit or enter the phone number you want to use for call forwarding
    6. Tap “Enable” / “Update

    Disable Call Forwarding:

    1. Open “Phone
    2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings
    3. Tap “Call forwarding
    4. Select the forwarding option you want to turn off
    5. Tap “Disable” to confirm
