How-to Moto Z2 Force Edition: Manage Calls, Messages, and Call Forwarding Options

    Block Incoming Calls:

    1. Launch “Contacts
    2. Go to “All Contacts
    3. Select the contact/phone number you want to block
    4. Tap “Edit” > “Menu
    5. Enable “All calls to voicemail

    Unblock Incoming Calls:

    1. Open “Contacts
    2. Access “All Contacts” and tap the contact you want to unblock
    3. Tap “Edit” > “Menu
    4. Turn “All calls to voicemail” Off

    Block Messages in Google Messenger:

    1. Open the apps drawer
    2. Launch Google Messenger and select the message thread exchanged with the contact/phone number you want to block
    3. Tap “Menu” > “People & Options
    4. Tap “Block [phone number]” > “OK” to confirm

    NOTE: The conversation thread exchanged with the blocked contact will be archived, same as future messages from the blocked contact. Notification alerts are disabled for archived messages.

    Unblock Messages in Google Messenger:

    1. Open Google “Messenger
    2. Tap “Menu” > “Archived
    3. Tap the conversation thread exchanged with the phone number/contact you want to unblock
    4. Go to “Menu” > “Unarchive
    5. Tap “Menu” again and go to “People & Options” > “Unblock [phone number]”

    Enable Call Forwarding:

    1. Open “Phone
    2. Go to “Settings” > “Call forwarding” (NOTE: the forwarding option might not be available if it isn’t supported by your carrier)
    3. Edit or enter the phone number/contact you want to use for call forwarding
    4. Tap “Enable” to confirm

    Enable Conditional Call Forwarding:

    1. Launch “Phone
    2. Tap “Menu
    3. Access “Settings” > “Call forwarding
    4. Choose to forward incoming calls “When unanswered”, “When unreachable” or “When busy
    5. Edit or enter the phone number you want to use for call forwarding
    6. Tap “Update” / “Enable” to confirm

    Disable Call Forwarding:

    1. Launch “Phone
    2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings
    3. Access “Call forwarding
    4. If necessary, select the forwarding option you want to turn off
    5. Tap “Disable
