Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Moto Z2 Force Edition to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the desired audio files on the PC storage
    5. Copy and transfer the files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” / “Notifications” / “Alarms” directories
    6. Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port

    Change the General Ringtone:

    1. Open the apps drawer
    2. Go to “Settings
    3. Tap “Sound & Notification” under “Device
    4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK
    5. Optionally, turn “Also vibrate for calls” On or Off

    Change a Contact’s Ringtone:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned to contacts located on the phone’s internal memory or the SIM card.

    1. Launch “Contacts
    2. Tap and hold the contact you want to customize
    3. Tap “Edit” > “Menu” > “Set ringtone
    4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK” to confirm

    Change the Notification Alert:

    1. Go to “Settings
    2. Scroll to “Device” and tap “Sound & Notification
    3. Tap “Default notification ringtone
    4. Select the desired notification alert and tap “OK” to confirm
