How-to Motorola Moto E5 Play: Block/Unblock Calls & Messages; Manage Call Forwarding

    Block Incoming Calls from a Contact:

    1. Open “Contacts
    2. Access “All contacts
    3. Tap the contact/phone number you want to block
    4. Tap “Edit” > “Menu
    5. Enable “All calls to voicemail

    Unblock Incoming Calls from a Contact:

    1. Launch “Contacts
    2. Go to “All contacts
    3. Tap the contact whose calls you want to unblock
    4. Tap “Edit” > “Menu” and disable “All calls to voicemail

    Block Messages:

    1. Open Google Messenger
    2. Tap the conversation exchanged with the phone number you want to block
    3. Tap “Menu’ > “People & Options
    4. Tap “Block [phone number]” > “OK

    NOTE: The conversation and future messages from the blocked contact will be archived and notification alerts will be disabled for archived items.

    Unblock Incoming Messages:

    1. Launch Google Messenger
    2. Tap “Menu” > “Archived
    3. Tap the conversation exchanged with the contact you want to unblock
    4. Tap “Menu” > “Unarchive
    5. Press “Menu” > “People & Options
    6. Tap “Unblock [phone number]”

    Enable Call Forwarding:

    1. Launch “Phone
    2. Tap “Settings
    3. Access “Call forwarding” (this feature might be unavailable if it isn’t supported by your carrier)
    4. Edit or enter the phone number you want to use for call forwarding, or select a contact from the phonebook
    5. Tap “Enable

    Enable Conditional Call Forwarding:

    1. Open “Phone
    2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings
    3. Select to forward incoming calls “When unreachable” “When busy” or “When unanswered
    4. Enter or edit the phone number you want to use for call forwarding
    5. Tap “Update” / “Enable

    Disable Call Forwarding:

    1. Launch “Phone
    2. Tap “Menu
    3. Go to “Settings” > “Call forwarding
    4. Select the forwarding option you want to turn off
    5. Tap “Disable” to confirm
