How-to Motorola Moto G6 Play: Manage Calls, Messages, and Call Forwarding Settings

    Block Incoming Calls from a Specific Contact:

    1. Open “Contacts
    2. Go to “All contacts” and select the desired contact/phone number
    3. Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
    4. Enable “All calls to voicemail

    Unblock Calls:

    1. Launch “Contacts” and go to “All contacts
    2. Tap the contact whose incoming calls you want to unblock
    3. Tap “Edit” > “Menu” and disable “All calls to voicemail

    Block Messages:

    1. Open Google Messages
    2. Tap the conversation exchanged with the contact/phone number whose messages you want to block
    3. Tap “menu” > “People & Options
    4. Tap “Block [phone number]” > “OK

    NOTE: The conversation and future messages received from the blocked contact will be archived. Notification alerts are disabled for all archived messages.

    Unblock Messages:

    1. Launch Google Messages
    2. Tap “Menu” > “Archived
    3. Select the conversation exchanged with the contact you want to unblock
    4. Tap “Menu” > “Unarchive
    5. Tap “Menu” again and access “People & Options
    6. Tap “Unblock [phone number]”

    Enable Call Forwarding:

    1. Launch “Phone
    2. Go to “Settings
    3. Tap “Call forwarding” (note that this feature might be missing if it isn’t supported by your carrier)
    4. Edit or enter the phone number you want to use for call forwarding. Alternatively you can select a contact from the phonebook
    5. Tap “Enable

    Enable Conditional Call Forwarding:

    1. Launch “phone
    2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings
    3. Select to forward incoming calls “When unreachable” “When unanswered” or “When busy
    4. Enter or edit the phone number you want to use for call forwarding
    5. Tap “Enable” / “Update

    Disable Call Forwarding:

    1. Launch “Phone
    2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings
    3. Access “Call forwarding
    4. Select the forwarding option you want to disable
    5. Tap “Disable” to confirm
