New Blackberry 7250

Discussion in 'alt.cellular.verizon' started by Bruce D. Brown, Feb 7, 2005.

  1. I have just heard that a new Blackberry 7250 (Bluetooth) will be available
through Verizon on February 11th. The article said that it has been
available for Enterprise customers since the end of January. Has anyone
used this phone in the last week and developed opinions (good, bad,
what-ever) about this phone. Mainly, I want to know how the phone (voice)
    sounds.

    anyone???

  2. Would it be difficult to give us the links to your "just heard". What
article are you talking about? With that said, Phonescoop, as well as the
rim site says that Verizon went with a public announcement of this same info
earlier today, Feb 7th. As I like phonescoop, you'll find its own public
    disclosure here:
    http://www.phonescoop.com/news/item.php?n=1079 "Verizon Wireless today
announced they will be carrying the RIM Blackberry 7250"

as a phone the blackberrys suck. there are many blackberrys in our sales
force and two treos. all with verizon. the blackberry folks gripe like hell
and are slowly converting over to the treo. the treo owners are extremely
    satisfied.
  4. I agree that the old Blackberry sucked as a phone (Awful sound and poor
reception). But the new Blackberry (7100 series) that have been introduced
for Cingular and also T-Mobile (Terrible Service area) are shaped like a
phone and work great as a phone. From what I hear they also work great for
Blackberry Service (email). Only problem with that is they are designed for
GSM and everyone knows just how long it can take Verizon to adopt the new
    phone.

I like the Treo 650 but even with its "larger keypad", my fingers are too
big to use the keypad. Otherwise it is a great phone.
