    Clear App Cache/Data:

NOTE: If an app causes problems and takes up too much storage, you can try fixing the issues by clearing the app cache or data. WARNING! When clearing an app’s data, all of your personal data stored within the app will be deleted, including user profiles, custom settings etc. To avoid losing personal app data, clear the app cache only.

    1. Launch “Settings
    2. Go to “Apps & Notifications” and switch to “See all apps
    3. Select the desired app and tap “Storage
    4. Tap “Clear cache
    5. If clearing the app cache didn’t solve the issues, tap “Clear data” (Check the WARNING above)

Reset Network and App Settings, Factory Reset the Phone:

NOTE: Ensure you’ve backed up all of your personal data before factory resetting the device, otherwise your data will be lost.

    1. Open “Settings” and go to “System
    2. Tap “Reset options
    3. To reset network settings, tap “Reset Wi-Fi Mobile & Bluetooth
    4. Tap “Reset” twice to confirm
    5. To reset app settings, tap “Reset app preferences” > “Reset apps
    6. To factory reset the device, tap “Erase all data (Factory Reset)” > “Reset phone” > “Erase everything

Reboot to Safe Mode and Uninstall Apps:

NOTE: If a third-party app causes problems and prevents you from removing it, you should be able to uninstall the app while in Safe Mode where all third-party apps are disabled by default.

    1. Press and hold “Power” while viewing the home screen
    2. Form the power management pop-up, tap and hold “Power off” and accept to boot to Safe Mode
    3. Wait for the device to reboot and once done, you should see a “Safe Mode” watermark in the lower area of the home screen
    4. Launch “Settings
    5. Go to “Apps & Notifications” and switch to “See all apps
    6. Select the desired app and tap “Uninstall” > “OK
    7. To exit Safe Mode, reboot the device normally
