How-to Nokia 2V: Manage Incoming Calls, Messages, and Call Forwarding Settings

Block Calls from a Phone Number/Contact:

1. Launch “Phone”
2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
3. Go to “Call blocking”
4. Enter the phone number you want to block or select an existing contact
5. Tap “Block”

Unblock Calls from a Phone Number/Contact:

1. Open “Phone”
2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
3. Access “Call blocking”
4. Tap “X” next to the phone number you want to unblock
5. Tap “Unblock” to confirm

Block Messages via Google Messages:

1. Open Google Messages
2. Tap and hold the conversation exchanged with the phone number/contact you want to block
3. Tap “Menu” > “People & Options” > “Block [phone number]”
4. Tap “OK” to confirm

NOTE: Blocked messages will be archived and they will not be accompanied by notifications when they arrive.

Unblock Messages:

1. Open Google Messages
2. Tap “Menu” > “Archived”
3. Select the phone number whose messages you want to unblock
4. Tap “Menu” > “People & Options” > “Unblock [phone number]”

Reset the Call Log:

1. Launch “phone”
2. Access “History”
3. To view more details on a call log entry, tap it
4. To reset the call log, tap “Menu” > “Clear call history”
5. Tap “OK” to confirm

Enable Call Forwarding:

1. Open “Phone”
2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
3. Go to “Call settings” > “Call forwarding”
4. Select to “Always forward” and enter the phone number you want to forward calls to. Alternatively you can select a contact from the phonebook
5. Tap “Turn On”

Enable Conditional Call Forwarding:

1. Open “Phone”
2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
3. Access “Call forwarding”
4. Select to forward incoming calls “When busy” “When unreachable” or “When unanswered”
5. Enter or edit the phone number you want to forward calls to or select a contact
6. Tap “Turn On” or “Update”

Disable Call Forwarding:

1. Open “Phone” and tap “Menu”
2. Go to “Settings” > “Call settings”
3. Tap “Call forwarding”
4. Select the forwarding option you want to disable
5. Tap “Turn Off”
