How-to Nokia 2V: Transfer Audio Files from a PC and Set Custom Call & Notification Ringtones

    Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

    1. Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
    2. On the phone, enable “Media File” when prompted or from the Notification area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer and locate the audio files on the PC
    4. Copy the desired files and transfer them to the phone storage in the “Ringtones” and / or “Notifications” directories
    5. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
    Change the General Ringtone:

    1. Open “Settings
    2. Access “Sound
    3. Tap “Phone ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
    Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

    NOTE: Custom ringtones can’t be set for contacts stored on the SIM card or the device’s internal memory.

    1. Launch “Contacts
    2. Tap and hold the desired contact then tap “Edit
    3. Tap “Menu” > “Set ringtone
    4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “Save
    Change Notification Ringtones:

    1. Open “Settings
    2. Go to “Sound” > “Default notification ringtone
    3. Select the desired notification ringtone
    Manage Emergency Alerts:

    1. Open “Messages
    2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings
    3. Go to “Wireless alerts
    4. Enable or disable “Allow alerts” “Extreme threats” “AMBER alerts” and “Severe threats
