How-to Personalize the Home Screen of Your LG Lucid 2

    Changing Your Wallpaper

    1. Go to the Home screen and then tap and hold an empty area on the screen in order to access the edit screen.
    2. Touch Wallpaper -> then swipe either left or right until you see the desired wallpaper -> then select the wallpaper you’d like to use.
    3. When you want to exit the edit screen, just press the Home key.

    Adding Apps and Widgets

    1. Go to the Home screen, then touch and hold an empty area on the screen to open the edit screen.
    2. To navigate to another Home screen (an open one), swipe left or right at the top of the screen.
    3. Then tap Widgets from the bottom of the screen -> swipe left or right until you see the widget that you wish to add -> then tap the widget and drag it to the open Home screen.
    4. To exit the menu, simply press the Home key.

    Resizing Your Widgets

    1. Go to the Home screen where the widget that you want to resize is located.
    2. Then tap and hold the widget that you want to resize -> tap and drag the blue corners to resize it.
    3. When finished, press the Home key.

    Deleting Apps or Widgets

    1. Go to the Home screen that contains the app or widget that you want to remove.
    2. Then tap and drag it to the Remove icon located at the top of the screen.

    Customizing Your Favorites Tray

    1. From the Favorites Tray, tap and hold the app that you wish to delete.
    2. Then drag the app to the Remove icon located at the top of the screen.
    3. To add a new app to the Favorites Tray, tap and hold the app the desired app and then drag it to the Favorites Tray.
    Note: Your Favorites Tray can have a maximum of six apps and the only app that can’t be removed is the Apps icon.

    Changing the Lock Screen Shortcut


    1. From the Home screen, tap the Menu key.
    2. Then select Settings -> tap Lock screen -> select Clocks & shortcuts -> then tap the app shortcut that you wish to replace, for example Google or Messaging.
    3. Then go to the app that you wish to add to the Lock Screen and then tap it.
    4. When finished, tap Save.

    Creating a New Folder

    1. From the Home screen, you need to tap and hold the app shortcut that you’d like to place in a folder.
    2. Then simply drag that icon on top of another shortcut located on the Home screen. This process will create a new folder.
    3. To open the folder, just tap it.
    4. Then tap the Plus sign (+) if you’d like to add a new app to the folder -> select the app that you want to add and tap OK.
    5. If you want to remove an app from the folder, just tap and drag it outside of the folder.
    6. To rename the folder, open it and then tap Folder -> tap the Folder name and enter the desired name -> tap OK.
    7. When finished, press the Home key.

    Adding a Home screen Page


    1. Go to the Home screen and then just pinch the screen. This will allow you to see all the available Home screens.
    2. To add a new page, just tap the Plus sign (+).
    3. To view the new Home screen page, tap it.
    Note: You can have a maximum of seven Home screen pages.
