PIX Place Free?

Discussion in 'alt.cellular.verizon' started by stannc@gmail.com, Nov 14, 2005.

  1. In general, 25 cents per PIX/FLIX message sent to another VZW handset.
Airtime applies when sending, receiving and uploading PIX&FLIX Messages
    to Pix Place.

  2. If you intend to use it a bit, and have friends and/or family on VZW,
go for the $5.00 unlimited IN (on VZW) TXT/PIX/FLIX plan.

The 815 takes a memory card?

Yes, a transflash card to be precise.

512MB is the current maximum size. Transflash == MicroSD (NOT MiniSD,
like some other phones use; same company, different package). It comes
with a carrier so you can plug it into a standard SD/USB adapter and
treat it like any other removable "drive" on a PC.

A couple of months ago, someone was saying there was a 1GB TF card.

Someone, possibly the same person, was also giving a web site with a good
deal on TF cards. Could that be repeated for us?
