    Not at their rates or with their implementation. Now, if they'd add
    PTT to my family plan, and set it up so I can just PTT, without using
    the number of the only other phone I'd really want to use it with
    (full barge mode, in effect), I'd consider it.

    more idiots walking through the street talking out loud and beeping,
    feeling like captains of industry...

    You've obviously never used a trunked radio system.

    The 'wait for beep' can often be better than transmitting and finding
    out you didn't make the system at all.

    For the past four years, I has assisted in the management of a M/A-Com
    EDACS trunking system... In 12 years that we have had the system, I
    can only recall getting the "qued" beep two or three times.
