You have no reason to access mine, either, but you admit you did.....

Once again you has no idea what he's talking about. Most of the delay you see on "webpages" is not
network latency. 90% of what you see is either the server waiting on a reverse DNS query on your IP
to be returned, or render time on your browser. Network latency on packet switch networks is almost
exactly the same as Circuit switched networks unless something is broken somewhere. I just spent
over 30 minutes on a VoIP call to Spain. Quality was better (yes, better) than POTS phone call, and
latency was under 250ms (1/4 of a second Round Trip). I can sit here, and ping London from The US
west coast and RT latency is around 200-220ms. Circuit Switched call to London would be worse than
that on most cases. All this depends on routing in either case.

But saying that http protocol latency is the same as network latency is just plain stupid. I can
configure my web servers to not do reverse DNS lookups on clients - and just respond. The time for
pages to show up on the end drops enough people call and say "Wow, your website is the fastest I've
seen". Furthermore, LD carriers are already converting their networks from Circuit Switched to
Packet Switched. It works just fine for voice - and saves bandwidth.

Most likely the latency they see on PTT is from 1x setup and auth delays. That's in the protocol
layer.. and I suspect something they can change in the future.

His bragging and attitude are quite enough......

This type of individual should never be given access to anyone's
    personal information, period.......

Actually, yeah...it kinda does. I've launched and ran it on a V60p
myself, so unless you were using/seeing one with some wack firmware
    then yeah, they do...

Well, assuming its true it'd be easy enough to figure out who you are.
Verizon logs a lot more than you think they do.

And it *is* our call. Its our call who we do business with. I know the
people that frequent this usenet group pay much more than your job as Head
Wanker at Verizon pays you every month...

Y'all are assuming it actually happened. I've not seen any admissions by
MB that he touched Larry's account.
