How-to Samsung Galaxy J3 Emerge: Manage Contacts and Caller Groups

    Create a Contact:

    1. Launch “Contacts
    2. Tap “+” and choose to store the contact on “Phone”, “SIM Card” or to “Sync with Google
    3. Add the contact’s name, phone number, and other optional details in the appropriate fields
    4. Tap “Save” to confirm

    Import/Export Contacts:

    1. Open “Contacts
    2. Tap “Menu
    3. Go to “Settings
    4. Tap “Manage contacts” > “Move contacts from phone…
    5. Select an account with which to sync contacts
    6. Tap “Move” > “Import/Export contacts
    7. Follow one of the steps below:
      • When importing contacts: tap “Import” > “SD Card”, select the contacts to import and then tap “Internal storage” > “Done” > “Import” > “OK
      • When exporting contacts: tap “Export” > “SD Card”, then select the desired contacts and tap “Done” > “Export” > “OK
    Assign Contacts to Speed Dial:

    1. Launch “Phone
    2. Access “Contacts
    3. Tap “Menu” > “Speed dial
    4. Tap the dial pad number you want to use for speed dialing
    5. Select the contact you want to associate with the dial pad
    6. Press “Back” to confirm

    Create a Caller Group:

    1. Launch “Contacts
    2. Tap “Menu
    3. Access “Groups
    4. Tap “Create” and enter the desired name for the group
    5. Optionally, add members to the group and set a group ringtone
    6. When ready, tap “Save

    Assign Contacts to an Existing Caller Group:

    1. Launch “Contacts
    2. Tap the desired contact
    3. Tap “Details” > “Edit” > “Groups
    4. Tick the check box associated with the desired caller group
    5. Tap “Back” > “Save” to confirm

    Delete Contacts:

    1. Launch “Contacts
    2. Select the contact you want to remove
    3. Tap “Menu
    4. Tap “Delete” to confirm

    Actually, the easy way to manage contacts on Samsung Galaxy J3 is using Android Assistant tool. All data will be scanned out by Android Assistant tool after you link Samsung Galaxy J3 to pc via usb cable or wifi. Then you can choose contacts to manage.
