    Reset Network Settings:

NOTE: By resetting network settings, all saved Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections will be deleted. In addition, data restrictive settings, background sync, and network selection mode will be switched to default.

    1. Open “Settings
    2. Go to “General Management
    3. Tap “Reset” > “Reset network settings
    4. If your phone is protected by a lock screen, enter your password/PIN etc.
    5. Tap “Reset settings

    Soft Reset via Hardware Settings:

NOTE: A soft reset simulates battery removal, and this feature can be useful in situations where the phone is frozen and unresponsive. A soft reset will not delete any personal data on the phone’s internal storage.

    1. Press and hold “Volume down” and “Power” at the same time
    2. Keep both buttons pressed for up to 45 seconds
    3. Once the phone finishes rebooting, release the buttons

    Hard Reset

NOTE: Hard resetting the device will result in the deletion of all your personal data located on the phone’s internal memory, such as downloaded content, media files and ringtones, contacts, apps etc. In addition, all settings will be restored to factory values. However, data located on the SD and SIM cards will not be affected.

Before resetting the phone, you can visit this thread for instructions on how to back up data, and this thread for a guide on restoring data.

    8. Tap “Reset device” and if needed, enter your PIN/password to proceed
    9. When ready, tap “Continue” > “Delete all

    Hard Reset via Recovery:

NOTE: If your phone freezes, crashes, or otherwise prevents you from resetting it via Settings, alternatively you can try resetting the device from the Recovery menu, which can be accessed by performing the following:

    1. Turn the smartphone off
    2. Press and hold “Home” and “Volume Up” at the same time, then press and hold “power” too
    3. At the “Android” logo, release all buttons
