How-to Samsung Galaxy Note 9: Manage Contacts, Caller Groups, and Speed Dialing

    Create a Contact:

    1. Open “Contacts
    2. Tap “+” and select to store the contact on “Phone” “SIM” or to sync it with “Google
    3. Enter the contact’s phone number, name, and other optional details in the appropriate fields
    4. Tap “Done

    Import/Export Contacts:

    1. Launch “Contacts
    2. Tap “Menu
    3. Go to “Settings” > “Manage contacts
    4. Tap “move contacts from phone
    5. Select an account for syncing, then tap “Move” > “Import/Export contacts
    6. Follow one of the steps below:
      • When importing contacts: tap “Import” > “SD Card” and select the contacts, then tap “internal storage” > “Done” > “Import” > “OK
      • When exporting contacts: tap “Export” > “SD Card” and select the contacts, then tap “Done” > “Export” > “OK
    Add Contacts to Speed Dial:

    1. Launch “Phone
    2. Tap “Contacts
    3. Tap “Menu” > “Speed dial
    4. Select the desired speed dial key
    5. Tap the contact/phone number you want to link with the speed dial key

    Delete Contacts:

    1. Launch “Contacts
    2. Tap the contact you want to remove
    3. Tap “Menu
    4. Press “Delete” two times to confirm

    Create a New Caller Group:

    1. Open “Contacts
    2. Tap “Menu
    3. Access “Groups” and tap “Create
    4. Enter the desired group name, and optionally select a group ringtone
    5. Tap “Save

    Add Contacts to an Existing Caller Group:

    1. Launch “Contacts
    2. Select the contact you want to associate with the caller group
    3. Tap “Details” > “Edit
    4. Tap “Group
    5. Tick the check box linked with the desired caller group
    6. Tap “Back” > “Save
