How-to Samsung Galaxy Note 9: Transfer Audio Files from a PC and Set Custom Ringtones & Notifications

    Transfer Audio Files from a Computer:

    1. Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” on the phone, either when prompted or from the Notification area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Navigate to the audio files on the computer
    5. Copy and paste the files to the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” and “Notifications” folders
    6. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port

    Change the General Ringtone:

    1. Open “Settings
    2. Go to “Sound and vibration
    3. Tap “Ringtone
    4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “Back

    Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:

    NOTE: You can’t set custom ringtones for contacts located on the SIM card or the device’s internal memory.

    1. Launch “Contacts
    2. Select the desired contact
    3. Tap “Details” > “Edit” > “More
    4. Tap “Ringtone
    5. If necessary, enable “Allow storage permissions
    6. Tap the desired ringtone and press “OK

    Change Incoming Email Settings:

    1. Open “Email
    2. Tap “Menu
    3. Go to “Settings” > “Manage accounts
    4. Select your email address
    5. Tap “Notification settings” > “Email notifications
    6. Optionally, tick or clear the check boxes associated with “Notifications” and “Vibrate

    Change Emergency Alert Settings:

    1. Open “Messages
    2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings
    3. Go to “Emergency alert settings
    4. Tap “Emergency alerts
    5. Turn “Imminent severe alerts” “Imminent extreme alerts” and “AMBER alerts” ON or OFF

    As I know, the easy way to transfer music files from pc to samsung is using Android data manager tool. With its help, you can directly import music files from computer to Samsung Galaxy Note 9.
