    Reset Network Settings:

NOTE: By resetting network settings, all the saved Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections will be deleted. Additionally, data restrictive settings, background sync settings, and network selection mode will be restored to default.

    1. Open “Settings
    2. Go to “General management
    3. Tap “Reset” > “Reset network settings
    4. In case the phone is protected by a lock screen, enter your PIN/password to proceed
    5. When ready, tap “Reset settings

    Soft Reset via Hardware Settings:

NOTE: A soft reset is designed to simulate the removal of the battery and this can be useful in situations where the phone is unresponsive. Soft resetting the phone will not delete any personal data saved on the phone storage.

    1. Press and hold “Power” and “Volume down” simultaneously
    2. Keep the buttons pressed for up to 45 seconds
    3. Once the phone finishes rebooting, release both buttons

    Hard Reset

NOTE: Hard resetting the device will delete all your personal data stored on the phone’s internal memory, including ringtones, media files, downloaded content, contacts, applications etc. Furthermore, all settings will be restored to factory values, but data stored on the SD storage and SIM card will not be affected.

You can check this thread for a guide on backing up data, and this thread for instructions on how to restore data.

    Hard Reset via Settings:

    1. Open “Settings
    2. Go to “Cloud and accounts
    3. Access “Backup and restore
    4. Optionally, enable or disable “Back up my data” and “Restore
    5. Go back to “Settings” and access “General Management
    6. Tap “Reset” > “Factory data reset
    7. Tap “Reset device” and if necessary, enter your lockscreen password/PIN to proceed
    8. When ready, tap “Continue” > “Delete all

    Hard Reset via Android Recovery:

NOTE: In case your phone freezes, crashes, or otherwise prevents you from resetting it via Settings, you can try resetting the device from the Recovery menu which can be accessed by performing the following steps:

    1. Turn the phone OFF
    2. Press and hold “Home”, “Volume Up” and “Power” at the same time
    3. At the Android logo, release all the buttons
    4. Wait for access to Android Recovery
    5. Once in Recovery, navigate the menu by pressing “Volume down” repeatedly
    6. Highlight “Wipe data/factory reset” and press “Power
    7. Highlight “Yes – delete all user data” and press “Power” again to confirm
    8. After the reset completes, ensure “Reboot system now” is highlighted and press “Power
