Switching phones

    What exactly do I have to do to switch to a new phone?

    I know i have to call 1-800-ALLTEL1, and do something, then i have to get the phone im switching too and call like #228 or something?

    Call Alltel customer service from a phone. Not the one you currently have, not the one that you want to switch too, but a different one.

    Tell them you have a new phone that you want to activate, they may be able to assist you. They may also tell you that you need to take the phone to an Alltel store to have a CSR activate it.
