I have a CHS 435HDC dvr. Is that the latest model Verizon fios uses?

I like the time showing on the front and depend on it to tell the time. So I don't like it that when I pause or play a TV show, that the time gets replaced by "pause", "play", etc. A temporary overwrite is understandable but what is annoying is that the "pause" etc overwrite stays on for far too long, maybe a minute or more.

Is there a setting I can change to shorten or eliminate this replacing of the digital clock?

Yes, I believe the Cisco's are the latest ones being used. Previously it was Motorola.

Also, I don't believe there is a timeout setting for the channel/clock display
