    Using a Google Account:

NOTE: You can sync the contacts on the SGSIII with your Google account, and then share the account data (contacts) with the HTC One M9.
    1. Sign in with your Google account on the SGSIII
    2. On the home screen, press “Menu” and go to “Settings
    3. Tap “My Accounts” > “Google
    4. Tap your “email address” or “user name” and enable “Sync Contacts
    5. Tap “Sync Now
    6. Switch to the HTC One M9, register the same Google account, and allow it to sync contacts with your device
    Using the “Contacts” App:

NOTE: You can use the default Contacts application to export the contacts on the Galaxy SIII as a vCard file. Then you can transfer the file to the HTC One M9 manually or via email, and import its contents using “Contacts
    1. Launch “Contacts” on the SGSIII
    2. Access the “Contacts” tab
    3. If necessary, press “Menu”, tap “Contacts to display” and switch to “All contacts
    4. Tap “Menu” > “Import / Export” > “Export to SD card
    5. Make sure you remember the vCard file’s name and tap “OK
    6. Open the email client and compose a new email containing the vCard as an attachment
    7. Send the email to your own address
    8. Switch to the HTC One M9 and open the email
    9. Download the attached vCard file and import it using “Contacts

NOTE: Once you have created the vCard file on the SGSIII, you can transfer it to the HTC One M9 by connecting both devices to your computer and copy-pasting the file from one phone to the other. Then, import its contents on the One M9 using “Contacts

    Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: You can use third party apps such as “Send Anywhere” to transfer your contacts from one device to the other. Send Anywhere uses a P2P connection to transfer files and data, without needing a computer.

    1. Go to the Play Store and install “Send Anywhere” on both smartphones
    2. Launch the app on both devices
    3. On the SGSIII, tap “Send” > “Contacts
    4. Choose the desired contacts and tap “Send
    5. Lastly, select a method of transfer. You can tap “Receive” on the HTC One M9 and enter the transfer code generated on the SGSIII, or tap “Generate QR Code” on the Samsung device and scan the code with the One M9’s camera to begin the transfer
