Sync iPhone Contacts with Google via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync the contacts on your iPhone with your Google account. You can then sync the account data with the Samsung Galaxy J3 V.

    1. Open iTunes on the computer
    2. Connect the iPhone to the computer using the Lightning port
    3. After it connects, click the iPhone in iTunes and access the “Info” section
    4. Enable “Sync Contacts With
    5. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
    6. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
    7. Click “Apply” to start the sync
    8. Once the sync is complete, register the same account on the Samsung Galaxy J3 V, and allow it to sync contacts with your phone

Share iPhone Contacts via iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If the contacts on your iPhone have been previously backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet, and export the contacts for Android use.

    1. Launch the Internet browser on the computer
    2. Visit iCloud
    3. Sign in with your iCloud account and click “Contacts
    4. Select the contacts you want to share and click “Settings
    5. Click “Export vCard” and wait for the vCard file to be downloaded on the computer
    6. Once the file is downloaded, import it via “Google Contacts” or, alternatively:
    7. Connect the Galaxy J3 V to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard file to the phone storage, and import it to your phonebook using “Contacts

    Via “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: While the methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can transfer your contacts using third party applications. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can be used to back up and transfer iPhone contacts via email.

    1. Go to the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
    2. Launch the app and tap “Backup
    3. Wait for the app to create the vCard backup file, and once done, tap “Email
    4. Compose a new email and ensure the vCard is attached
    5. Send the email and attachment to your own Gmail address
    6. Switch to the Samsung device and open the email
    7. Download the vCard attachment and import it using “Contacts

    Via “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third party app you can use to transfer your iPhone contacts without requiring a computer. The app is available on iOS and Android, and uses a peer-2-peer connection to transfer contacts and other types of files cross-platform without requiring a computer.

    1. Visit the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
    2. Go to the Play Store and install the same app on the Samsung Galaxy J3 V
    3. Launch the app on both handsets
    4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts
    5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send” again
    6. Lastly, choose a transfer method. You can tap “Generate QR Code” on the iPhone and scan the code with the Galaxy J3 V’s camera, or tap “Receive” on the Samsung device and enter the transfer code generated on the iPhone
