Share iPhone Contacts with Google Using iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data, including contacts, with the Moto Z2 Play.

    1. Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB
    2. Launch iTunes on the computer
    3. Access “Info” and enable “Sync Contacts With
    4. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
    5. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
    6. Click “Apply” to start the sync
    7. Once the sync is done, switch to the Motorola device and sign in with the same Google account used in iTunes
    8. Set the account so that it can sync contacts with your Android device

Share iPhone Contacts via iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts have already been backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in to your account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.

    1. Launch the Internet browser on the computer
    2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
    3. Sign in with your iCloud account
    4. Go to “Contacts” and select the desired contacts
    5. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard
    6. Once the vCard has been downloaded on the computer, follow one of the steps below:
      • Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to “Google Contacts”, or:
      • Connect the Moto device to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import its contents to your phonebook using “Contacts
    Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: Although the two methods above require a computer with an active Internet connection, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third party applications such as My Contacts Backup, available on iOS.

    1. Go to the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
    2. Launch the app and tap “Backup”. This will create a vCard backup file containing your iPhone contacts
    3. After the vCard is created, tap “Email
    4. Create a new email and make sure the vCard is attached
    5. Send the email and attachment to your own address
    6. On the Moto device, open the email and download the vCard attachment
    7. Import the vCard to your phonebook using “Contacts

    Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Another third party app you can use for contact transfer is Send Anywhere, available on iOS and Android. The application uses a peer-2-peer connection to share your files cross-platform without requiring a computer.

    1. Go to the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
    2. Visit the Google Play Store and install the same app on the Moto device
    3. Open the app on both smartphones
    4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts
    5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send
    6. Lastly, select the desired transfer method on one of the smartphones and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
