    Transfer iPhone Contacts via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync the contacts on your iPhone with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data and contacts with the Android phone.

    1. Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
    2. Launch iTunes on the computer
    3. In iTunes, click the iPhone and go to “Info
    4. Enable “Sync Contacts With
    5. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
    6. Log in with the Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
    7. Click “Apply” to begin the sync
    8. Once the sync is done, switch to the Android phone and log in with the same account used in iTunes
    9. Set the account to sync contacts with the Android device

Share iPhone Contacts from an iCloud Backup:

NOTE: In case your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.

    1. Launch the Internet browser on the computer
    2. Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
    3. Log in with your iCloud account
    4. Go to “Contacts
    5. Select the desired contacts and click “Settings
    6. Click “Export vCard” and wait for the file to be exported to the computer
    7. Next, follow one of the steps below:
      • Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts or:
      • Connect the Android device to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage, and import the vCard to the phonebook using “Contacts
    Using My Contacts Backup:

NOTE: Although the two methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.

    1. Go to the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone
    2. Open the app and tap “Backup” to create a vCard containing your iPhone contacts
    3. Once the backup is done, tap “Email
    4. Compose a new email making sure the vCard is attached
    5. Send the email and attachment to your own address
    6. Switch to the Android device, open the email and download the vCard attachment
    7. Import the vCard to the phonebook via “Contacts

    Using Send Anywhere:

NOTE: Another third party app you can use for contact transfer is Send Anywhere, available on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types cross-platform without requiring a computer.

    1. Go to the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
    2. Install the same app on the Android phone via the Play Store
    3. Launch the app on both devices
    4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts
    5. Select the desired contact
    6. Tap “Send
    7. Lastly, select a transfer method on one of the devices and follow the on-screen steps to complete the process
