That's fascinating. I've never before seen that combination of promotions
    offered together.

    They weren't. :)

    Entire story:

I moved from Cleveland to Apple Valley this summer (end of June).

I originally had one phone on AC. I got another one because I was going to
need it for business purposes. I put it on the AC Family Share plan.

The primary line already had the 1000 nationwide M2M and unlimited N/W, and
in the Ohio/Michigan market, those promos WERE being offered together in '02.

Earlier this year, I also got Express Network MOU added to the account.

Upon moving into a permanent residence in Apple Valley in August, I called
VZW in Ohio and did an E-Z Move.

A couple months later, the unlimited intra-account Mobile to Mobile was
added automatically. I got a flyer in the mail explaining the promotion,
called customer service, and was told that it was automatically being added
to new plans (apparently for values of "new" that include "initiated within
the past few months", because it had already been a month or two since I
closed the account out of the Ohio system and opened the account in
    California).

No monthly charge; no contract extension.

    Verizon must like me...

Or maybe they're just bribing me so I'll say nice things about them on the
    newsgroups.

(Oops. I didn't mean to say that. Where's the "CANCEL POST" button?)

And still are in the OH/MI market. I have 1000 M2M and unlimited N/W
on my account, activated a month ago.
